This National Certificate in Sports Management is a registered and accredited qualification with the SAQA number 60309.

NewBridge College offers a voluntary and additional blended academic support programme for this distance National Certificate in Sports Management. Our support is in addition to the comprehensive responsibilities of the accredited Provider and is in no way a replacement of any such responsibilities. NewBridge College does not have a contractual agreement with the Provider as such agreements are not currently allowed in the South African regulatory framework.  NewBridge College is an independent private college and does not offer support, or any of its services, on behalf of the Provider. 

The Provider takes full responsibility for the registration of students for their chosen qualifications, develops, delivers, and assesses the curriculum and certifies students on completion of the qualification. These functions are the exclusive responsibility of the accredited provider. The Provider is required to be registered by the Department of Education and Training (DET) and Accredited by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) which ensures students are studying towards a registered and accredited South African qualification.

The registration with NewBridge College is therefore specifically for our additional and voluntary academic support programme. NewBridge College registration additionally offers each student access to our career advisory services, pastoral care, and a full campus life to enjoy with likeminded students and the community life which a campus enables. All of which are not inherent in a distance or online qualification.

Furthermore, students have access to the NewBridge College exclusive Accelerate Academy coupled with our unique Professional Development Programme and relevant Short Learning Programmes offered through innovative learning platforms like edX and Coursera, as well as the NewBridge College Sports Academy.
